Wapping Summer Shindig

The St Katharine and Wapping Ward Panel will be holding a stand at this year’s popular community event.  

This will be a chance for residents to meet with us and discuss any issues and concerns they have. The Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) has agreed to attend along with the Tower Hamlets Enforcement Officers (THEOs) and the THH Park Guard.

The police SNT has also agreed to run a bike marking event on the day between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.

Bike thefts continue to plague our Ward. Please take this opportunity to have your bikes marked and registered so that, in the event that they are recovered, the police can find a way of returning them. Bike marking also acts as a deterrent to thieves as any recoveries can assist the police in securing the location they were stolen from.

Please attend and take the opportunity to stop by our stand and talk with us, the police, theos and park guard.
