Calling for all Bicycle, Motorbike, Moped and Scooter riders.
Between 11:00am and 1:00 pm on Sunday 30/05/2021 the St Katharine’s and Wapping Police SNT together with members of the Ward Panel will be offering FREE security marking to anyone who brings their bicycle, motorbike, moped or scooter.
This is a free service being offered by the Police Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and limited to a first come first served basis.

Why does this work?
Criminals understand SmartWater. An independent academic study showed that:
- 91% knew what SmartWater was and that it could link them to a crime scene
- 74% of criminals surveyed WOULD NOT burgle a property where SmartWater deterrent signage was on display
Marking your property also provides the police a way to identify stolen goods and return them to their owners.
